It is important to understand that the salvation, provided by Jesus, for those who request forgiveness and have truly contrite hearts, is always available. However, some people do back slide. When one is in that state, one is not redeemed. We cannot live double lives. We are are either for Jesus, or against him. No walking the fence. The Bible makes it clear, we are to constantly repent, as sin is committed in thoughts and speech as well. I personally would not trust the Scofield version as he and Darby have deceived millions with their concocted doctrine of pre-trib rapture. That is a lie. It is not biblical. Read Matthew 24 and Thessalonians for yourselves. Jesus clearly states he will return ONCE only, AFTER the tribulation. Bless you.

I'm not hung up on the KJV I have a NKJV Scofield Study Bible And I know in my mind and in my heart That I'm saved and my choice of Bible is never going to change that ever. The preacher of the Church my parents took me to as a child used the KJV that's for sure. My first Bible was KJV and I'm thankful for that. I will say one thing for sure that young preacher is dure setting the woods on fire. Any preacher that lays it all out there like he does old or young are few and far between.
