New Icelandic airline Play has announced plans to fly to New York’s Stewart International airport – the carrier’s third route to the US. The low-cost airline has already announced its first two transatlantic routes from Stansted to Boston and Baltimore/Washington, via its Reykjavik hub. Play will also fly from Stansted to New York Stewart International, which is located about 60 miles north of Manhattan, from 10 June 2022 – this service will be the airport’s first international route for three years.
