Friday evening April 15, 2022 is the appointed time to observe the Passover. As the Passover concludes, the appointed time for the observance of Unleavened Bread begins. These celebrations have their origins in the exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt. In the days leading up to the Passover and the exodus from Egypt, God distinguished between His people and the Egyptians. As the plagues progressed in severity, God set apart the land of Goshen where the Hebrews lived. Exodus 8:22-23 NKJV 22 "And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, in order that you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the land. 23 "I will make a difference between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall be."'" The separation process that began at the beginning of this fourth plague is completed when God separates His people from Egypt marked by the flight of children of Israel from Egypt which is symbolized by the consumption of Unleavened Bread.
