After Jonah’s dramatic rescue from the sea in the belly of the great fish, the fish brought Jonah safely to dry ground. When Jonah stood on the land, God once again gave Jonah the mission to go to Nineveh. Jonah 3:1-2 NKJV 1 Now the word of the LORD came to Jonah the second time, saying, 2 "Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I tell you."
