i saw a guy who set up a vacuum next to the entrance of the hive at night and waited until the end of the next day. the vacuum was set up to apply the suction at the hive entrance to suck up the wasps as they come home and enter the hive. he had something in the wet dry vacuum to make sure the wasps died. he stayed away from the hive and turned on the vac from a distance using an extension cord. good luck
