☦️ Christians yearn for access to God. Because of this, sometimes we believe God speaks to us. Is it always God, or could it sometimes be our own mind, using our imagination to lead us astray, giving us the answer we want? How can we be sure? Is there a way to check, or verify, the feeling that it is God’s voice? St Paul tells us in Hebrews 1:1-2 exactly when and how God has spoken. We can have unlimited access to God through The Word which is complete, perfect, and will not lead us astray, but keep us on the straight and narrow path of the Warrior Saint. We pray, we worship, and for guidance we go to the repository of God’s infallible speech.
