☦️Today’s homily notes that people stray from God’s commandment not to worship false gods, when they are willful and tell stories to promote themselves or have their own way, instead of God’s way. It never works out as they think it will. The experience of the prodigal son shows that. It also shows how to overcome it and return to our welcoming, loving, life-giving Father.
