I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." This fake as hell con-man was trying to quote Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!". Jesus says he is the Bright and Morning Star, Isaiah says is the son of the morning". Two completely different things.
