About the Kyle Rittenhouse case... it's obviously an ethnic/racial issue, not a "self-defense" or 2nd Amendment issue.

Americans defend themselves millions of times each year with firearms, and very few of those shootings make the national news.

There are really only two things about this particular case that make it noteworthy or unusual:

  1. The shooting involved a white person protecting themselves from jewish antifa thugs
  2. The shooting took place at a BLM riot, and the people who died sympathized with BLM

So obviously it's not a simple self-defense case. The only reason it's national news is because of ethnic/racial politics.
