"Free speech" is a misnomer. Speech has never been free. There is always a price. In the past, in America, in my lifetime, it SEEMED free because the price had been paid with the blood of previous generations. But a price was paid, just not by us, so it seemed free. Nowadays, you may need to pay the price yourself in the form of "deplatforming", or imprisonment, or if things keep going the way they are going, death, but there is always a price.
