While we desire to live a quiet and simple life, sometimes we must be willing to face reality, stand up, and be counted. A quiet and simple life isn’t something we should take for granted. There are forces at work right now that would undermine our liberty and freedom to live as we choose.

As a Christian, I have a responsibility to speak truthfully about matters around me. As a Conservative, I have a responsibility to speak up for the importance of the Constitution. For too long Christians have been willing to stay away from the fray. They didn’t want to get their hands dirty. They didn’t want to offend people.

Well, look where we are now as a culture. Christians abdicating large portions of the culture has not worked out well, has it?

I decided to put together a video to discuss some of the big issues I see right now including:

the failure of some in high-profile Christian leadership

the plot to falsely ease the conscience of Christians

the attack on and manipulation of the emotions of women

what it has been like to live in Michigan this year

how we should think about voting in the upcoming election

I feel a sense of responsibility to speak up and share what I have observed. I also feel compelled by the love of Christ to speak the truth in a time when people are afraid to speak up. I want to encourage you to speak up. If you are a Christian or a Conservative, you need to make your voice heard. We should never give an inch to forces that are working against our faith and the Constitution.
