God created, sustains, and owns all things. He owes us nothing, while we owe God all love, honor, and obedience. We depend on God for life, breath, knowledge of His infinite excellence, and how we should live. Apart from God we have nothing; and as Jesus said, “apart from Me you can do nothing.” Knowledge of God as the source of all things, including eternal life through Jesus Christ, has profound implications for a proper Christian worldview, how we know and understand His infinite excellence, how we live life, and where we spend eternity.
