Proud father of 3. Married 34 years and counting. Born in Kansas. Lived on Seattle's Eastside since the age of 3.
After an unusual lowland snowfall and an even more unusual sunny day in December, we visited Kubota Garden to see what a Japanese garden would look like under snow. It was beautiful as expected. We had the parking lot and garden to ourselves except for one dedicated worker, pushing a wheelbarrow around and spreading salt on the paths. Some of the paths remained treacherous, so we'll return again in the spring to cover the whole 20 acres.
