Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has said Taipei rejects Beijing's revised proposal of a ‘one country, two systems’ solution. Meanwhile, a Chinese government white paper claims the future of Taiwan is within China's borders, and that its status as part of the country is undeniable.
