In this video, we're going to go through the process of learning how to shadowbox. Shadowboxing came to be due to it referring to you "boxing your shadow," hence the term. However, a lot of beginners don't have the full grasp on how to do it yet, and, with no fault to other dojos/gyms of their own, have seen (and even attended) classes where beginner students were just punching, kicking, and/or move aimlessly whenever the instructors tell them to shadowbox. So, I broke it down to simple steps for beginners to start with and use it as a foundation for them to add on as their progress. I also kept in mind that beginners can study different martial arts, which is why the approach is of the basic level where everyone can relate. Hope this helps!
